The book is fraught with errors. If you buy this, make sure you proofread and correct stories before you hand out. Problems exist with subject/verb agreement and sentences that just don't make sense. Here is an example: Page 124, "Law enforcement a sends have robots can go into dangerous areas causing injury to individuals." Or "Medical facilities have microscopic robot cameras that go into areas of the human body, robot cameras bloodstreams, that are too small for a doctor to see." These are not the only errors and they occur with other stories where subject/verb agreement is a problem as well as correct tense usage. The book is supposedly developed by "expert teachers" and I expect better than this for my money.
It was great for standards-based skills review. I'm not convinced that it truly prepares students for the rigor of the SBAC; however, to be fair, I did not have time to try the online tools.
Book was good, but many printing mistakes wrt to answers

ot this book for my son, who did the online tests using the codes provided in the book. It helped him to pass the school STAR test.
